Your Support is Needed!
Help make 2013 a success for hundreds of educators and, in-turn, thousands of children and youth. Become a sponsor for youth gardening education today!
Since 1993 the American Horticultural Society's National Children & Youth Garden Symposium (NCYGS) has led the way in promoting the value of children's gardens and garden-based education. Through a train-the-trainer model, this annual event brings together thousands of educators, garden designers, community leaders, and children's gardening advocates from across North America. Join us in inspiring the next generation of gardeners and horticultural leaders by becoming a 2013 Symposium sponsor!
2013 in Denver
For 2013, NCYGS travels to Denver to be hosted by Denver Botanic Gardens, which is situated in the heart of Colorado's dynamic capital. In addition, the Symposium will spotlight several other organizations in the region that have a proven record of success in regards to youth gardening education: Denver Urban Gardens, The Gardens on Spring Creek, and Cheyenne Botanic Gardens. Presentations by students, educators, and leading national experts will address a wide variety of topics from implementing innovative programs, activities, and curricula to fundraising and garden design.
