Event  Listing Submission Guidelines


To have an event listing considered for publication in The American Gardener magazine’s “Regional Happenings” section, or on the American Horticultural Society’s website, please submit the following information at least three months in advance of the event to ensure timely publication.

  • Date(s) of the event
  • Title of the event
  • Brief description (one or two words, i.e. garden walk, workshop, plant sale)
  • Name of your organization
  • City and state
  • Phone number for event information or registration
  • Web address or e-mail address for event information
  • Your name and contact information in case we have questions about the listing.

Please note: Due to space limitations, not all listings can be published in the magazine, but we will do our best to get all listings posted on the website.
