Friday, April 10
10 a.m. to 12 p.m. AHS Members-Only Morning, with complimentary coffee and pastries, and the first opportunity to buy from our vendors. Current members will need to show a membership card or other proof of membership. Nonmembers may join on site for admittance.
12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Open to all. Kids and leashed pets welcome too!

Dozens of vendors will be selling a wide variety of plants and seeds, along with garden decor, accessories, books, and botanically themed art.
Shop for herbs, native plants, vegetable starts, and specialty plants with our longtime, favorite vendors.
Discover new garden decor with vendors who are joining the Spring Garden Market for the first time.
Shop for vintage gardening books from our AHS library shelves.
Pet the alpacas from Kino Alpaca Criations.
When you spend $50 or more with one vendor, you'll get a free plant from Bonnie Plants!
Have a snack or lunch at the Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company booth, an award-winning local favorite with a variety of barbeque, side dishes, and beverages.
Coffee samples, and coffee beans for sale from Cafe Kreyol.
Whole Foods, Old Town will be demonstrating seasonal cooking.
Garden Carts & Tote Bags
A few carts and wheelbarrows will be available onsite for carrying purchases to your car, but you may want to BYOC (bring your own cart).
Beyer Subaru will have tote bags on hand for plant sale attendees.
Inside the Estate House enjoy an art show depicting cherry blossoms and other botanical subjects by Salon 8, a group of local painters; all pieces will be for sale with a percentage of the price donated to River Farm.
Demonstrations & Education
New this year are cooking demonstrations by Whole Foods, Old Town, and rose-bead-making demonstrations by the Herb Society of America, Potomac Unit.
Master Gardeners will give research-based answers to your gardening questions.
Explore family friendly activities at the kids' table.
In the Garden Shop from 10 – 2 each day: The Botanical Artists for Education and the Environment (BAEE) will sign their Native Plants of the Mid-Atlantic book.
FREE for AHS members with valid membership card, and $5 per car (cash only) for non-members. This fee may be applied toward an AHS membership.
Please note that parking is not permitted on East Boulevard Drive outside of River Farm's gates, per the National Park Service - towing is enforced.
